The Robins Air Force Base Legal Assistance Office is closed until further notice for appointments and walk-in services.  If you are an urgent deployer or have an emergency, please call (478) 926-9276 and leave a message with your name, contact information, subject matter and we will return your call.

CIVIL LAW DIVISION

The Civil Law Division provides assistance to commanders, management officials and the base population on a wide range of issues, including standard of conduct concerns, administrative law issues, claims and legal assistance.

Assistance is available by both appointment and during walk-in times. Please call (478) 926-9276 or DSN 468-9276 for walk-in times or to schedule an appointment to see an attorney.

Legal assistance is available to active duty military members and their families, retired military members and their families and members of the Guard (Title 10 status only) and members of the Reserves on active duty orders.

ENVIRONMENTAL LAW DIVISION

The Environmental Law Division addresses legal issues associated with Robins AFB environmental matters. Legal counsel is provided for a full range of environmental law issues including: compliance with federal, state, and local laws; management of hazardous substances and hazardous waste; environmental restoration; permitting requirements; and natural resources protection.

OPERATIONS LAW DIVISION

The Operations Law Division generally refers to legal rules applicable in actual military operations. It is normally defined as that body of domestic, foreign and international law that impacts upon the activities of U. S. forces in war and operations other than war.

Commanders must ensure their personnel are trained to comply with the Law of Armed Conflict (LOAC).  All military personnel must accomplish this training every 20 months.  LOAC training can be accomplished at the ADLS website.

LABOR LAW DIVISION

The Labor Law Division provides representation and advice to management officials and Commanders on employment related matters and disputes related to Air Force civilian personnel. Examples of such matters are disciplinary actions, grievances and EEO complaints.

MILITARY JUSTICE DIVISION

The Military Justice Division provides guidance to commanders on nonjudicial punishment proceedings and courts-martial. Contact (478) 222-0550 or DSN 472-0550 for assistance.

The Area Defense Counsel program provides independent legal representation to military members suspected of an offense or facing adverse administrative actions. Contact the ADC at (478) 926-5852 or DSN 468-5852 for assistance.

VICTIM WITNESS ASSISTANCE

The National Domestic Violence Hotline is 1-800-799-SAFE.

The National Sexual Assault Hotline is 1-800-656-HOPE.

Information about the State of Georgia Crime Victim Compensation Program. You do not have to be a victim in a state court to qualify for this fund. Robins AFB Sexual Assault Prevention & Response Office (SAPRO)
The Department of Defense does not tolerate sexual assault and has implemented a comprehensive poilcy that reinforces a culture of prevention, response and accountability that ensures the safety, dignity and well-being of all members of the Armed Forces.

The Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC), located in Bldg. 707, can be reached at (478) 327-SARC (7272).
