The Robins Air Force Base Office of the Victims’ Counsel delivers victim-centered advocacy that is comprehensive and independent to survivors of sexually-related offenses, domestic violence, and interpersonal violence.
A Victims’ Counsel is a Judge Advocate who is authorized to provide independent legal representation to eligible victims of sexually-related offenses and domestic violence. Additionally, a Victims’ Counsel is authorized to give limited legal assistance to eligible victims of interpersonal violence. A Victims’ Counsel’s primary responsibility is to their client. The office also helps victims obtain support and recovery resources.

- Advise you on the investigation and prosecution process
- Represent you in interviews, hearings, and military trials

• Who does the Victims' Counsel work for? YOU!
- Victims' Counsel do not work for anyone in your wing except you, and cannot be influenced by your or the offender’s chain of command
- Victims' Counsel have an independent chain of command in Washington, DC
• Contact SARC, FAP, VWAP Coordinator, or Legal Office to request a Victims' Counsel
- Restricted reports: Go to the Victims' Counsel, SARC, Victim Advocate, Chaplain, or Health Care provider to ensure the report remains restricted
