78th Communications Directorate

Provides IT software application development, sustainment, and datacenter hosting services. The division is responsible for IT development, technology direction and insertion, configuration management, and defining and maintaining software development standards and environments.

Plans, designs, builds, manages and maintains base information network infrastructure and worldwide connectivity. Responsible for the acquisition, development, management, control, operation and maintenance of systems that enable command, control and communications for Robins AFB and its tenant units.

Provides oversight for resource functions to include force development, training, plans, programs, manpower, personnel, Lean, project management, funds management and contract management. Provides all aspects of IT security for base unclassified and classified networks/system and maintains the security and integrity of the base network boundary.
