COVID-19 Robins Current Situation

HPCON ALPHA

The Installation Commander has directed implementation of Health Protection Condition Alpha.

  • Getting the COVID-19 vaccine is highly encouraged to protect vulnerable high risk individuals.
  • Practice social distancing (six feet of separation between you and another individual) at all times. Clean and disinfect your work area routinely and practice appropriate hand cleansing hygiene. These steps remain imperative in the fight against COVID-19.

  • All members should adhere to strict hygiene (no handshaking, wipe common-use items); if exposed, self-isolate and contact your immediate supervisor and/or unit Contact Tracing Cell. Continue standard precautions such as routine hand washing, cough on sleeve, diet, exercise, vaccinations, education, planning, routine health alerts, etc.
  • Healthcare professionals, patients, visitors and all others entering base healthcare facilities will continue to wear masks while in these facilities to reduce transmission of COVID-19.
  • Non-vaccinated employees will continue to social distance in all circumstances while on the installation.
  • If a member develops any symptoms associated with COVID-19 -- a fever of 100.4 Fahrenheit or above, cough, sore throat, headache, fatigue, muscle or body aches, loss of sense of taste or smell, shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea -- and may have had contact with a person who has COVID-19, should contact their health care provider before seeking medical care to prevent possible transmission in the health care setting.
  • If you are normally seen at Robins AFB’s 78th Medical Group, please call the TRICARE nurse advice line first at 1-800-874-2273, or the 78th MDG appointment line at 478-327-7850 prior to the visit. If you are normally seen by an off-base provider please call the Georgia Department of Health first at 1-866-PUB-HLTH (1-866-782-4584) prior to your visit.
