HomeAbout UsEWA Conference

Welcome to the site for the annual Electronic Warfare and Avionics (EWA) Conference (formerly called the Air Force Technical Program as part of the Dixie Crow Symposium).  The EWA Conference will be an annual event held each year at the Museum of Aviation, Robins AFB, GA, on Tuesday-Thursday during the month of March and provides current technical briefings related to each year’s theme.  This year’s EWA Conference will be held 26-28 March 2019 at the Scott Theater, Museum of Aviation, Robins AFB, GA. The EWA Conference provides a venue for Air Force, DoD industry professionals and academia to share information and engage in dialog on the latest technology and policy issues in the areas of electronic warfare (EW), avionics, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR).  Free technical short courses will be offered during the third day of the EWA Conference and will provide an opportunity for continuing education credits. This year’s training courses will be held on Thursday, 28 March 2019, and will include courses on Cognitive Electronic Warfare and Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) Trends. Refer back to this site for additional updates related to the EWA Conference.

Registration for the EWA Conference is now open.  Please visit the registration page at https://e.afit.edu/dfVWW64.  You must register to attend the EWA Conference technical presentations on 26-28 March 2019 using the link provided on this site.  Please note that our conference is not affiliated with the Dixie Crow Symposium which has a separate registration process. Registering for the Dixie Crow Symposium does not register you to attend the EWA Conference and technical presentations and vice versa. If you plan to attend any ITAR or classified presentations, you must also submit a JPAS request per the security instructions on the Robins AFB web site:  https://www.robins.af.mil/About-Us/EWA-Conference/.

Badge pick-up will be allowed beginning at 1000, 26 March 2019, in the Eagle Building, Robins AFB Museum of Aviation.

The 2019 theme is “Dominate the ElectroMagnetic Spectrum (EMS) in Contested Environments through the use of Agile, Resilient Systems and Architectures.”  We are soliciting papers that relate to Electronic Warfare (EW), Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR), or Avionics and may include (but not limited to) technical solutions, initiatives, enablers, techniques, methods, policy/doctrine updates, interoperability, open systems, modeling, architectures, and best practices.
