The C-17 Globemaster III aircraft is crucial to Air Mobility Command’s airlift mission at Al Udeid, enabling the movement and supply of warfighters throughout the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. When two C-17’s were grounded here due to the need for extensive maintenance, Airmen with the 8th Expeditionary Air Mobility Squadron immediately began preparations to fix them.
