ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. - Gary Schnell, left, Museum of Aviation volunteer, and Ken Emery, 78th Air Base Wing MoA director, work on the L-440 Ranger Aircraft Engine oil system for the Fairchild PT-19A ‘Cornell’ engine inside the Scott Exhibit Hangar at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, March 8th, 2025. In addition to federal employees, volunteers, many with close ties to the aircraft they had worked on when on active duty, assisted in the restoration and maintenance of the more than 80 aircraft within the museum’s collection.
