Stormwater straight talk: Maintaining stormwater infrastructure
Maintaining stormwater infrastructure on Robins AFB is crucial to minimizing flooding, erosion and pollution. Stormwater infrastructure ages over time, and issues such as clogging, erosion and structural damage can keep inlets, pipes and channels from functioning properly. Once a structure no longer functions as intended, water may divert around the intended flow path resulting in further damage downstream. (courtesy photo)
