ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. – Gregory Taylor, 78th CES Facilities Flight power production systems mechanic, monitors a backup generator’s control panel during a functionality test at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, June 28, 2023. Biweekly and monthly inspections to backup generators, which go to the arresting systems, runway and taxiway lights, the air traffic control tower, and integrated landing systems, are conducted routinely to ensure systems can be used in the event of a power outage.
