558th AMXSS gives aircraft showroom paint finish
ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. – Painters with the 558th Aircraft Maintenance Support Squadron paint the tail of a C-5M Super Galaxy aircraft at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, May 18, 2023. The painters used approximately 200 gallons of paint, adding additional an 5,000 pounds of weight to the aircraft and took a little more than hour to complete the task.
