Throwback Thursday - Sept. 30, 2021
In September 2010, the 402nd Software Maintenance Group, part of the 402nd Maintenance Wing, cut the ribbon for the C-5 Integrated Aircraft Test Environment, which included a C-5 aircraft cockpit salvaged from a C-5 that crashed in 2006. The cockpit was then wired to be made fully functional so that it could be used to test software developed by the 402nd.
