402nd CMXG large 5-axis milling system arrives
ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. – Contractors unwrap a large 5-axis computerized numerical control machine outside a 402nd Commodities Maintenance Group building at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, Feb. 9, 2021. The large 5-axis machine was wrapped and framed to protect it from the elements during its voyage from Japan to the United States, then driven cross country via tractor trailer.
