402nd CMXG large 5-axis milling system arrives
ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. – Contractors unload the first of eight tractor trailers containing the pieces of a large 5-axis computerized numerical control machine outside building 140 at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, Feb. 9, 2021. The arrival of the large milling machine to the 402nd Commodities Maintenance Group is the culmination of more than eight years of planning and valued at over $48 million.
