409th SCMS works with F-15 SPO, AFLCMC to secure RSAF wings for F-15, saving millions
ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. – Earlie Eaton and Christopher Raven, 572nd Commodities Maintenance Squadron sheet metal mechanics, install an outboard rear spar on an F-15 aircraft Saudi wing at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, Nov. 20, 2020. The 409th Supply Chain Management Squadron, the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s F-15 Program Office and the F-15SA Conversion, Fighters and Advanced Aircraft Program Office worked together to acquire Saudi air force’s refurbished F-15SA wings to be used on F-15E Strike Eagle aircraft, saving the U.S. Air Force years of production time and millions of dollars.
