Robins NCO earns Airman’s Medal for heroic efforts at 2017 Las Vegas shooting
ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- Magali Benson pins the Airman’s Medal on her husband, Tech. Sgt. Jordan Benson, 402nd Aircraft Maintenance Group aircraft battle damage repair technician with the Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex, during a special ceremony at the Museum of Aviation at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, Oct. 2. Benson received the medal for actions he took during the 2017 Route 91 Harvest Country Music Festival mass shooting in Las Vegas where he was responsible for saving dozens of spectators.
