Rising Technology: DLA-Aviation automates to support WR-ALC workload increase
ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- The Vertical Lift Modules installed in 2019 at the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation at Warner Robins' building 82 at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, employ a series of drawers and cubicles that store items in an organized and space-efficient fashion. The VLMs utilize vertical space allowing DLA Aviation at Warner Robins to downsize from a space as large as 17,000 square feet to 7,000 square feet. (U.S. Air Force photo by Haley Janes)
