53d ATCS cleared for takeoff for Hurricane Michael recovery
TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Members of the 53d Air Traffic Control Squadron from Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, travel to Tyndall AFB, Florida, Oct. 11, 2018, to assist in reestablishing airfield operations after Hurricane Michael damaged most of the installation. The 53d ATCS deployed within hours of the Category 4 storm's landfall to assist the 325th Fighter Wing at Tyndall AFB in returning to normal flying operations. (courtesy photo)
