Col. Earl Layne, 78th Mission Support Group commander, speaks at the ceremonial ribbon cutting bringing online the new fuel support tank for the RQ-4 Global Hawk during a ceremony Sept. 10, 2018, at Robins Air Force Base. The new fuel tank will increase the base’s on-hand fuel inventory of specific fuel required by the Global Hawk by 300 percent from 6,000 gallons in a single tank to 18,000 gallons.
