Base technicians keep a weather radar ready to track a storm
This motor, critical to the operation of the Doppler radar near Jeffersonville, Ga., burned out and had to be replaced. The 78th Operations Support Squadron, Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems (ATCALS) maintenance team made emergency repairs to the radar during the Jan. 21 and 22 severe storms that came through Middle Georgia.
