Thunder over Georgia
“There’s a ton of work that your community members are putting into the air show that’s coming up in October, and it starts this far out,” Maj. Scott Petz, the team’s advance pilot and narrator, said. “We want to make sure your airfield is ready to go for the show, and it is – it looks great.” Maj. Petz and Staff Sgt. Conrad Nelson, a Thunderbirds tactical aircraft maintainer, were here to perform a site survey of Robins in advance of the team's scheduled performance during the Robins Thunder over Georgia Air Show Oct. 2 and 3.
