Up, up and away ...
Brian Shreve, Rev-Up reporter, sits in a Piper Warrior III along with Lewayne Davis, Robins Aero Club chief flight instructor (left) and Paul Wenzel, Robins Public Affairs chief videographer (in the back seat), prior to take off. The Robins Aero Club was once limited to active duty personnel and Department of Defense civilians. On-base flying lessons are now available to all Middle Georgia residents following a recent partnership between the club and the local community. Base and local residents interested in signing up for flying lessons at the Robins Aero Club should call (478) 926-4867.
