Lt. Col. Patrick Mullen, 99th Airlift Squadron aircraft commander, speaks Feb. 1 during a recruiting trip to Robins for the 89th Airlift Wing. The purpose of the visit was to brief individuals about the opportunities and mission of the 89th, and to recruit prospective pilots, flight engineers and communications systems operations to join the unit. The wing provides global special air mission airlift, logistics, aerial port and communications support for the president, vice president, combatant commanders, senior leaders and the global mobility system as tasked by the White House, CSAF and Air Mobility Command.
