Fire Prevention Week
Brian O'Leary, as the "Friendly Fireman" puts on a respirator while Manny Andico explains to pre-schoolers what a fireman would look like going into a fire. Children are visited by Sparky the Fire Dog and the“Friendly Fireman” at the Child Development Center West, Tuesday. Oct. 7 through 13 is Fire Prevention Week. This year’s fire prevention week theme is “Have 2 Ways Out.” Every year, thousands die from fire-related incidents. One way to help ensure yourfamily’s survival is to practice “Exit Drills In The Home” (E.D.I.T.H.). (U. S. Air Force photo/Sue Sapp)
