Force Generation Center celebrates a “Decade of Excellence”

Lt. Col. Thomas Albrecht, chief of the Air Force Reserve Command's Force Generation battle watch, gives media a tour of the FGC battle watch station after a ceremony celebrating the 10th anniversary of AFRC's FGC at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, Oct. 1, 2021. The battle watch is a command and control center that operates 24/7 to provide support to Air Force Reserve missions around the world. The FGC is the single organization responsible for generating Air Force Reserve forces by leveraging Reserve strategic capability to meet operational needs in support of the global force. The Reserve Citizen Airmen who support the FGC perform all aspects of force generation to include oversight, visibility and accountability of more than 70,000 Air Force Reserve forces.
