16th ACCS 27-year history comes to a close at Robins
16th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron added RB-57 Canberra recon aircraft to its fleet in 1954 retiring its RB-26 Invaders in 1955 before reequipping with RB-66 Destroyer reconnaissance aircraft in 1956. The 16th TRS flew the Martin RB-57A from 1954 – 1956.
