Robins Air Force Base opens new commercial vehicle search area

ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. – Col. Lindsay Droz, Robins Installation and 78th Air Base Wing commander, speaks at the ribbon cutting ceremony and opening of the new Gate 7 commercial vehicle search area at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, Jan. 28, 2022. The CVSA was a $9.8 million dollar project that built in queuing lanes to increase commercial vehicle throughput, decrease wait times, reduce traffic overflow to Georgia Highway 247 and lower the risk of vehicle accidents entering and leaving the installation.
