Proposed partnership between Robins, local community brings innovation to forefront
MACON, Ga. – The Robins Air Force Base Honor Guard posts the colors at a gathering in Macon, Georgia, April 5, 2019, in which the announcement of an innovative workforce development approach between the Macon-Bibb Industrial Authority, the Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex at Robins and Central Georgia Technical College was made. This unique partnership proposes to co-locate the 402nd Commodities Maintenance Group sustainment commodities workload from Robins alongside CGTC’s educational training programs. If ultimately approved, this partnership will be a first-of-its kind, innovative workplace-based education and training program. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tommie Horton)
