Homecoming
Capt. Nathan List returned home early from Iraq to surprise his son James, 9, at Shirley Hills Elementary School, and 12-year-old daughter Chloe at Warner Robins Middle School Dec 9. List, who has been deployed since before July 4, was not expected home until after Christmas. With President Obama's acceleration of the drawdown of troops, the Air Force Reserve Command captain made it home three weeks earlier than originally planned. He and his wife, Lisa, first surprised Chloe at Warner Robins Middle, then went to Shirley Hills Elementary to surprise James. U.S. Air Force photo by Tommie Horton
