From now through October 31st, service members and their families can receive 0% interest and a three-month payment deferral on all Defense Commissary Agency purchases when using a MILITARY STAR® card. There is no minimum or maximum purchase, and the offer applies to all commissaries worldwide. This offer is valid for both new and existing cardholders and applies to purchases of any amount. ESSENTIAL SERVICES AND OPERATIONS:
‒ Mission: Flying operations, depot maintenance, and national defense tasks continue uninterrupted.
‒ Airfield operations: Aircraft launch, recovery, and air traffic control remain active.
‒ Security and emergency services: Law enforcement, fire, and emergency response are fully operational.
‒ Medical care: Military treatment facilities, including pharmacy services, remain open. Some routine care may be limited based on staffing and priorities.
SUPPORT SERVICES:
‒ FSS services: This includes Military & Family Readiness Center can be contacted at 478-926-1256 (limited services), Child & Youth Services, CDC, MWR and NAF activities, AAFES, Commissary, base restaurant, food trucks, snack bars, DFAC, base chapel, bowling center, and the Fitness Center Annex (building 301, accessible via CAC; Main Fitness Center is closed).
‒ Finance and MPF: Finance and military personnel flight services will continue. Wait time may be increased.
