What are we doing right? How can we improve? The Community Action Team at Robins Air Force Base wants to know the good, the bad, and the ugly regarding the services provided on this installation.  If you have an opinion, this is your chance to voice concerns or share solutions to pressing issues.

The next Caring for People Forum will be held September 11, from 8 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. at the Robins Conference Center. There is limited seating and in order to participate individuals must sign up in advance by September 4.  This session will focus on: K-12 Education, Diversity and Inclusion, and Physical Readiness.

“These workshops allow us to ask people, our customers directly, what are we missing? If you were king for a day what would you do?,” said Charisse Bruce, Community Support Coordinator, 78th Air Base Wing. “Education and COVID-19, this is a big area of concern for parents and families. We want to get feedback on how we may help with distance learning or developing a better partnership with the school district leadership to make the situation smoother. Another area of concern is diversity and inclusion. It will be good for us to get a pulse on what people want us to achieve and how to do it.”

The last CFP forum was held in February. One of the issues addressed was the lack of space and privacy for breast feeding mothers. In response, a new breast feeding area was created in building 942 (in between both Child Development Centers). The area has four rocking chairs, a privacy partition and a diaper changing space.

Team Robins members and spouses interested must contact their unit first sergeant to register.
