Throwback Thursday - June 30, 2022
On June 25, 2010, members of Team Robins welcomed both an AH-1W Super Cobra and a UH-1N Huey helicopter as they arrived, signaling the relocation of Marine Light Attack Squadron 773 to Robins Air Force Base. The “Red Dogs” of HMLA-773 consisted of both active duty and Reserve members. The unit called Robins home for six years until it deactivated in June 2016 as part of an overall consolidation to streamline command and control, increase operational efficiency, and maximize Reserve support to its active component.
