Throwback Thursday - March 24, 2022

On March 24, 1989, WR-ALC commander, Maj. Gen. Richard Gillis and his wife, Vera, officiated a ribbon-cutting ceremony, which marked the grand opening of the new base restaurant. The restaurant was built on the site of the old one, which was destroyed by fire in 1986. The restaurant has served billions of meals since that time. It still is in operation to this day.
