Heritage Today - Gold Star Families

The Air Force Families Forever program, which takes care of Gold Star Families, is about continued, life-long support of those whose loved ones have made the ultimate sacrifice. Gold Star Families are survivors of service members who lost their lives during any armed hostilities in support of military operations. Georgia has three such fallen Airmen: - Capt. Mark Weber, U.S. Air Force Academy graduate - Staff Sgt. John Michael “Mike” Teal, Flight Engineer - 1st Lt. Joseph Helton, Jr., Security Forces
