SPACE AVAILABLE TRAVEL IMMIGRATION AND BORDER CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS

Military personnel stationed in Europe who travel to locations outside Europe do not require a passport to return to duty, but do require an ID card (Common Access Card), and leave orders.

Military personnel stationed in locations outside Europe and traveling to Europe require ID card (Common Access Card), tourist passport, and leave orders.

Note: IAW DOD 4500.54-G and DOD 1000.21-R you cannot use your Government issued "No-Fee" passport for leisure travel unless stationed overseas or on official travel orders.
