Col. Monique C. “Sherry” Graham is the 78th Air Base Wing deputy commander at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. The wing's 2,700 personnel are directly responsible for all logistics, medical, civil engineering, security and mission support functions. As the deputy commander supporting Georgia's largest single-site industrial complex, Col. Graham provides facilities and equipment support for the base's more than 50 Mission Partners, including a major command, an air logistics complex and three wings on the 6,935-acre installation. She is responsible for the management of facilities and equipment valued at $8.1 billion and the execution of a $170.8 million operating budget. Additionally, Col. Graham trains, deploys, and redeploys more than 1,800 Airmen in support of Air and Space Expeditionary Forces and combatant commander requirements. She is also responsible for safety, security, morale and welfare of 22,000 Total Force Airmen assigned to Robins Air Force Base and 28,000 local dependents and retirees.
Col. Graham commissioned from Texas Christian University in 2002. She is a career force support officer with experience as Military Personnel Flight chief, section commander, U.S. European Command’s Secretary of the Joint Chief of Staff and Chief, Air Forces Officer Assignments, AFRICOM’s Liaison for Personnel Programs and Officer Assignments, Manpower Analyst, squadron operations officer, Force Support Squadron deputy and 2x commander, A1P’s Branch Chief of Retirements, Separations and Force Management, Assistant, Force Support and Family Programs under the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Reserve Affairs and Airman Readiness, and Chief of Air Force Personnel Center Commander's Action Group. She completed her Air Force fellowship at the RAND Corporation, Santa Monica, California. Her research projects include the study of developing machine learning tools to support the Air Force's talent management decisions as well as the evaluation of the Air Force’s True North's Program effectiveness.
Prior to her current position, Col. Graham was the director of personnel support at Air Force Personnel Center at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas.
