CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT THOMAS W. BLOUNT

Chief Master Sergeant Thomas Blount is the Command Chief of the 461st Air Control Wing, Robins AFB, Georgia. He serves as the senior enlisted advisor to the Commander on matters influencing the readiness, morale, welfare, training, discipline, effective utilization, professional development, and force structure for the 1,500 assigned personnel across two groups and eight squadrons.

Chief Master Sergeant Blount enlisted in the Air Force in August 1995 as a Liquid Fuels Maintenance Specialist. Throughout his career, he has served in a myriad of roles within the Civil Engineer and RED HORSE community to include Technical Training Instructor, Deployed Site Construction Manager, Chief of Infrastructure, and Superintendent of Mechanical Training. He has deployed to provide engineering support for named contingency operations around the globe.
