Pave Hawk lands at Museum of Aviation
ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. – The student team from Northside High School in Warner Robins, Georgia, who created the exhibit, “PAVE HAWK: ‘That Others May Live’,” are joined by Maj. Philip “Skippy” Veltre, who commanded the HH-60H helicopter flight from the 41st Rescue Squadron at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, to the Museum of Aviation at Robins AFB, Georgia, for the opening of the exhibit, May 10, 2019. The students conducted research, drafted a storyline, and helped prepared and install artifacts and graphics panels, as part of a Professional Interest Exploration experience leading to a fully developed museum exhibit.
