More than 300 medical visits have been provided to Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex employees at the FAST FORWARD facility since opening in June.

"Providing high quality, convenient and accessible industrial medicine care is the key to its success," said Col. (Dr.) Michael Rappa, Occupational Medicine Services chief with the 78th Medical Group.

Rappa reported that feedback from workers treated at the facility has been overwhelmingly positive, with an overall customer service rating of "Outstanding."

The facility in Bldg. 49 is staffed by a nurse practitioner who provides immediate care of complex employees who are injured at work.

Also on staff are rehabilitation specialists, who provide hands on therapeutic treatments to facilitate recovery from musculoskeletal injuries such as sprains and strains.

FAST FORWARD stands for First Aid Station, Treatment, and Forward Operating Rehabilitation of Workers Accentuating Restorative Dynamics. Services include workplace injury care, injury and illness prevention education, rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries and occupational medicine examinations.
