In case you weren't already aware, Robins Airmen are permitted to wear morale T-shirts on Fridays.

The Air Force's uniform policy was approved in January by Chief of Staff Gen. Mark Welsh, with updates to Air Force Instruction 36-2903 on Air Force Dress and Appearance.

While any unit is welcome to increase unit pride by wearing individual shirts, the 461st Air Control Wing has embraced the weekly dress.

"It's great to showcase squadron identity," said Senior Master Sgt. Shawn Page, 461st Operations Support Squadron superintendent, proudly showing his squadron's blue shirt.

"It's nice to have something that represents our heritage here in the squadron," said Capt. Jeffery Guynn, 330th Combat Training Squadron executive officer, showcasing pride with a yellow squadron shirt.

The changes came directly from Airmen having their voices heard through the Every Dollar Counts campaign last spring.

Shirts are to be one color throughout the squadron, and may have a small squadron emblem over the left chest, as stated by the AFI updates.
