Each year the base Chapel designates thousands of dollars to assist those in need.

"The chapel-designated offerings are a great way for the Robins Air Force Base Chapel parishes to partner with our local helping agencies to support our community," said Lt. Col. Mark Crumpton, 78th Air Base Wing chaplain.

Offerings are collected from its Catholic and Protestant members and are given to both local and national non-profit organizations that in turn provide support.

For fiscal 2015, $28,500 will be distributed during the next year to 14 organizations.

They include: Abba House, Inc.; Archdiocese for the Military Services; Diocese of Alexandria, La.; Endorser's Appreciation Offering to Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Office of the Chief of Chaplain Services; Gideons Inter-national; Manna of Hope Resource Center; Palm Sunday March offering and Good Friday, April Peters Pence, (Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA); Propagation of the Faith;  Antioch of Middle Georgia, Cursillo; RBC Ministries; Robins First Sergeants Group; Robins Air Force Base AWANA Ministry; and Sacred Heart School, Warner Robins.
