To enhance the employee's ability to file a compensation claim, effective July 31, the new Employee's Compensation Operations and Management Portal will replace the Electronic Data Interchange.

Current, retired and separated employees can now file claims from their home computers using ECOMP.

The system doesn't require a common access card to file a claim.  ECOMP will allow the member to upload Forms CA-1 (occupational traumatic injury) and CA-2s (occupational disease), when submitting workers compensation claims to the Department of Labor.
