Worker’s Compensation Claims Will be Filed Using New E-Comp System Published July 14, 2015 By Staff Reports Robins Public Affairs ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- To enhance the employee's ability to file a compensation claim, effective July 31, the new Employee's Compensation Operations and Management Portal will replace the Electronic Data Interchange. Current, retired and separated employees can now file claims from their home computers using ECOMP. The system doesn't require a common access card to file a claim. ECOMP will allow the member to upload Forms CA-1 (occupational traumatic injury) and CA-2s (occupational disease), when submitting workers compensation claims to the Department of Labor. Those forms are available on ECOMP. ECOMP will also allow employees to check the status of their claim submission. The EDI system will be accessible through Aug. 30 to redirect submissions to the ECOMP system. The portal can be accessed anytime at https://www.ecomp.dol.gov
