Team Robins hosting energy competition

The Base Energy Office is offering Team Robins organizations a chance to enter into a friendly competition by sharing good-news energy stories.

The competition is intended to highlight organizational energy and water conservation achievements. 

All base mission partners and organizations at any level are eligible to compete. 

Submissions should describe in detail an organization's good news energy conservation or energy awareness story and how their efforts are positively influencing employee culture and aiding in wise management of energy resources.

Nominations should cover activities during the period Oct. 1, 2014, through Sept. 30.

ELIGIBILITY: 
Organizational nominations may originate from any base-wide mission partner and at any organizational level - Wing, Group, Squadron, or Flight.
 
NOMINATION CRITERIA:
Submissions should describe in sufficient detail an organization's good news energy conservation / energy awareness story and how their efforts are positively influencing employee culture and aiding in wise management of energy resources. Nomination scoring will use the following criteria:
· Details (scoring weight: 25%) - Describe the organization's energy conservation program and results.
· Employee Engagement (scoring weight: 25%) - Discuss examples of communication strategies and how they help keep employees aware and engaged in overall energy program efforts.
· Sustainability (scoring weight: 25%) - Discuss your program's ability to sustain energy conservation efforts over multiple months. 
· Transferability (scoring weight: 25%) - Discuss the extent to which your best practices are being adopted throughout the organization.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSIONS:
· Nominations due by Oct. 9
· Submit nominations to 78 CES Workflow, Attention:  Energy Management Office
· Limit nomination to three type written pages, (size 12-point font)
· Include Organization Title & Point of Contact/Phone Number

WINNER SELECTION PROCESS:
A panel of 78th CEG evaluators will review and score nominations. The organizational nomination will be recognized at an upcoming quarterly Energy Management Steering Group meeting.
