Government shutdown resource guide

ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. --  This contains a variety of resources to help with difficulties that individuals may experience during a government shutdown.


ESSENTIAL SERVICES AND OPERATIONS:

‒ Mission: Flying operations, depot maintenance, and national defense tasks continue uninterrupted.
‒ Airfield operations: Aircraft launch, recovery, and air traffic control remain active.
‒ Security and emergency services: Law enforcement, fire, and emergency response are fully operational.
‒ Medical care: Military treatment facilities, including pharmacy services, remain open. Some routine care may be limited based on staffing and priorities.

SUPPORT SERVICES:

‒ Air Force Materiel Command resource list: Additional information, such as military-focused banks and credit unions providing financial assistance, can be found here: https://www.afmc.af.mil/Resiliency/Resources/.

Employee Assistance Program: The EAP provides services and access to care for civilian employees with access 24/7 via telephone, website or in-person. Call 866-580-9078 or visit the EAP portal where you can:

  • Explore the variety of services available
  • Find a provider to meet your unique needs
  • Search the Learning Center for relevant health information and tools

‒ Available FSS services: The Military & Family Readiness Center can be contacted at 478-926-1256 (limited services), Child & Youth Services, CDC, MWR and NAF activities, AAFES, Commissary, food trucks, snack bars, DFAC, library, base chapel, bowling center, Main Fitness Center and Fitness Center Annex (building 301).

‒ Finance and MPF: Finance and military personnel flight services will continue. Wait time may be increased.
