Think you can sing? Then the judges of the first-ever Robins Idol singing contest would like to hear about it.

The free, amateur-only, open-mic karaoke competition is open to members of Team Robins willing to belt out a few tunes at the Heritage Club lounge. The remaining evenings left to perform are Thursday, Sept. 15 and 22 from 7 to 9 p.m.

More than 30 competitors have accepted the challenge since the contest began in early August. Top three winners have been chosen from each week, and will come together Sept. 22 to be judged for three final spots to sing at Summer Bash on Sept. 24.

The first place winner will win a $300 Force Support Squadron gift card; 2nd place, $200 FSS card; and third place, $100 FSS card. All winners will be chosen by the Summer Bash audience.

A few things to know before competing: You must be 18 years or older, performances are solo only, and you will be judged on voice control and accuracy, eye contact, hand and body movement, and crowd response. Every competitor will receive a T-shirt.
