The Clean Air Commuter Champions program recognizes those who help reduce pollution by carpooling, vanpooling, riding transit, taking the BiRD shuttle or working a compressed work week. Combined, the Robins commuters eliminated more than 22,600 commute trips by using alternatives to driving alone. The initiative is sponsored by the Clean Air Campaign - a not-for-profit organization that works with Georgia's employers, commuters and schools to encourage actions that result in less traffic congestion and better air quality. Robins is a partner with the Clean Air Campaign, which operates the website www.logyourcommute.org to help commuters find carpooling partners Clean Air Champions: William Bogard Jeffery Cravey Freddie Dorris Daniel English Lora Gaines James Gaines Jennifer Harmon William Lowery Michael Marrine Moise Maxi Horace McDuffie Mark Melton Erica Plummer Dedrea Weeks Peter Williams
