12 new sites achieve VPP Gold status Published May 18, 2012 By 78th Air Base Wing Public Affairs ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- Twelve Robins units have been recognized with "gold" in the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center's Voluntary Protection Program Safe Site Challenge. The challenge is a local tool used as a framework for elevating safety culture and ensuring all applicable safety and health management systems are being sustained. Employee teams are assessed against a series of Bronze-Silver-Gold checklists designed to grow and sustain a site's safety and health practices. The recent additions bring the number of units at Robins which have achieved Gold-level recognition to 134, with 150 other sites achieving either bronze or silver.
