Base exercise kicks off Monday Published May 9, 2013 By Staff Reports Robins Air Force Base Public Affairs ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- Beginning Monday, Robins personnel will be engaged in a quarterly exercise designed to evaluate the readiness, emergency response procedures and the ability to survive and operate in a wartime environment. Exercises test the base's ability to respond to various situations and threats, both manmade and natural. Many of the responses result in delays entering and exiting the base. Additionally, during the exercise, base personnel may encounter reduced services at some on-base facilities and restricted building access. The exercise is scheduled to run through May 23.
