Robins welcomes new Military Working Dog
ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- There is a new member of the 78th Security Forces Squadron at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. Meet two year old Dzengys (pronounced ZING-is, the ‘D’ is silent). The German Shepard completed his initial training at the 341st Training Squadron at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas - where all Military Working Dogs are trained. His handler is Sgt. Troy Smith, 78th SFS MWD trainer. Smith said Dzengys is skilled in patrol and detection techniques.
