The Secretary of the Air Force has directed all installations to elevate to Health Protection Condition Charlie on March 25 to combat the spread of COVID-19 across the Department of the Air Force and our local communities.

“Leaders have considered mission essential and emergency essential activities and are carefully working with community and mission partners across base to ensure the right teams are able to continue critical work while protecting the most vulnerable and high risk population,” said Col. Brian Moore, Robins Air Force Base Installation Commander.

“The health and safety of Team Robins has always been the top priority to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.”

The base had already taken extra health protection measures to mitigate the spread of the virus. Members are carrying out procedures according to the Centers for Disease Control for hygiene, cleaning and disinfecting, social distancing and asking workers to stay at home if they are sick. Leadership has directed eligible employees to telework where feasible.
